The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-partisan, women's service organization which was founded in 1890. NSDAR (or DAR) actively supports historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Franklinton Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1952. Although the Chapter was chartered in Bexley, it was named Franklinton after the town on the Scioto River which was founded in 1797 and later became part of the city of Columbus.
Franklinton Chapter is involved in various DAR projects and community activities. Please see our Chapter page to learn more about our chapter, its programs and activities.
Our National Society's web site is extremely informative; if you have not already done so, please visit this site to learn more about the scope and objectives of our organization.
